MSC Cruises receives new MSC World America and announces name of next World Class ship!

Four Gates Group – MSC Cruises' Representative in Ukraine informs: On March 27, 2025, MSC Cruises reached several historic milestones in its World Class fleet during celebrations at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.



MSC Cruises has welcomed its newest cruise ship MSC World America, designed for 6,762 passengers. This eco-friendly giant successfully completed sea trials in the Atlantic Ocean and will be ceremoniously named on April 9, 2025 at the innovative cruise terminal in Miami, USA.

Facts about MSC World America:



- Class: World Class (second ship of this class after MSC World Europa)
- Displacement: over 215,000 tons
- Passenger capacity: up to 6,762 guests
- Fuel: runs on liquefied natural gas (LNG) - one of the cleanest fuels in the cruise industry
- Shore power: possibility of connecting to shore power - engines are turned off in ports (for example, in Miami)
- Sustainable technologies: advanced waste treatment systems, water reuse, energy-efficient solutions
- Recreation areas: family and adults-only pools, water park, entertainment complexes, restaurants, lounges, MSC Yacht Club area
- Entertainment: theaters, shows, cinema, interactive areas, sports grounds, children's clubs

A coin-laying ceremony was held on board the next liner – MSC World Asia, the launch of which is scheduled for the winter of the 2026/2027 season. It will begin its route in the Mediterranean Sea.

The company also officially announced the name of another flagship - MSC World Atlantic, the construction of which started today with the start of steel cutting. Its debut is scheduled for the winter of 2027/2028, and the routes will run from Port Canaveral (Florida, USA) to the Caribbean region.
