About MSC Cruises

MSC Cruises is the market leader in Mediterranean cruises. The company's product range includes year-round routes in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, as well as seasonal routes to the shores of Northern Europe, South America, South Africa, the Canary Islands, the Antilles, the United Arab Emirates and the Atlantic Ocean.

An investment program launched in 2003 has created a completely modernized MSC fleet, which currently consists of 12 ships - 4 ships for each class. MSC ships are expected to make about 1.7 million trips in 2014.

MSC Cruises is a company with a Mediterranean heart, committed to bringing the uniqueness of the Mediterranean lifestyle to its customers from all over the world. Timeless values such as authenticity, humanity and warmth guide MSC's work. The principles of benevolence are visible in everything: from the unprecedented hospitality of the multilingual crew to the delicious national cuisine, which best reflects the life and culture of the inhabitants of the region.

MSC Cruises believes that leadership is impossible without a strong responsibility to preserve the natural resources on which the company thrives, as well as the safety of all people on board and off the ship. Not surprisingly, MSC's concern for the marine ecosystem and the health of crew and passengers has been recognized with many certificates and awards. In 2013, MSC Cruises became the first company to be awarded the "7 Golden Pearls" for the environmental friendliness of Fantasia class liners, namely: the Cleanship 2 Class distinction for advanced water and air purification systems, ISO 50001 certificates for high energy efficiency standards, ISO 14001 for resource management, ISO 22000 for food quality and OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety.

The interiors and exteriors of the company's ships, designed by De Jorio Design International, have also won numerous prestigious shipbuilding design awards. However, MSC Cruises continues to set new standards for the nautical experience. Of particular note are the MSC Aurea Spa, a luxurious spa and fitness center, and the state-of-the-art MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive club aboard each of the company's four flagship ships, featuring elegant cabins, a personal butler and many other privileges. Having plunged into the world with MSC Cruises, everyone has the opportunity to join the Mediterranean philosophy, where life is measured in moments, not minutes, and each such moment should have its own special taste.

Liner classes:

Fantasia Class flagships are MSC Cruises' largest ships, each measuring 333m long, 38m wide and weighing around 140,000 tons. MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia average 4,363 trips each year, while MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa each account for 4,345 trips. Each ship is a masterpiece of Italian style: the perfect balance of cutting-edge technology, elegance and first-class service.

Musica Class liners are luxurious and have a unique character. Each of them weighs 90,000 tons and makes about 3,000 trips a year. Imagine the harmony of technological innovations, thoughtful design, Mediterranean hospitality, amazingly delicious Italian cuisine and vibrant entertainment. You will find all this on board the Musica class, because music is in the air there, and time flows in a carefree symphony of pleasure.

The Lirica Class liners, although they make only 2,000 cruises annually, and do not differ in size (only 60,000 tons), attract their guests with 5-star service and a meditative atmosphere. Immerse yourself in a sea of stunning historic landscapes and classic décor, where marble floors meet solid woods and flowing draperies. Be sure that the crew of the ships will give you as much attention as if you were the only passenger on board.

Meraviglia class liners are the largest and most innovative cruise ships built by a European cruise company (tonnage - 167,600 tons, designed for 5,700 passengers). The ceiling of the covered promenade is made in the form of a huge LED screen, on which various images are broadcast, creating a unique atmosphere both day and night.

MSC Seaside class. The first Seaside class liner called MSC Seaside with a carrying capacity of 154 thousand tons, designed for 5179 passengers, will “come out” in November 2017. It will be the largest cruise ship from the Fincantieri shipyard, one of the world leaders in the shipbuilding industry. Then the "following the sun" MSC Seaside will arrive in the port of Miami, from where its first cruise in the Caribbean will start. MSC Seaview is the second of two twin ships in the Seaside class. The liner will spend its debut season in the Western Mediterranean, where MSC Cruises firmly holds the palm.
