Changes to MSC Cruises itineraries for the winter season 2023/2024!

In light of the current geopolitical situation and to ensure the safety of its passengers and crew, MSC Cruises has been forced to cancel the Red Sea winter program on the ship MSC Orchestra, which was planned from November 8, 2023 to April 17, 2024, due to the proximity of some ports of call to Israel and a series of restrictions in bordering countries that would negatively affect the safety and leisure of passengers.



As an alternative to passengers MSC ORCHESTRA is offered: 

1. Transfer to the liner MSC OPERA, which will perform the Persian Gulf route. The most favorable price (the lowest between the price of the old cruise and the price of the new one) will be provided, subject to the same stateroom type and cruise duration. You can choose any date of the season, subject to availability, except 21.12.2023, 24.12.2023 (Christmas) and 28.12.2023, 31.12.2023 (New Year). If you select dates around Christmas or New Year, the new rate will apply.

f the tourists agree to transfer to MSC OPERA onboard credit* is provided, which can be spent on board for any additional services:

*On-board credit is not granted if there is another on-board credit or bonus in the order, including one related to rebooking using an MSC voucher 

- For cabins with window, balcony, suites - SBC €100 per cabin (€50 for single cabins)
- For cabins without a window – SBC €100 per cabin (€50 for single cabins) or upgrade to a cabin with a window (subject to availability)



2. Transfer your cruise to any published sailing up to May 2024 sailing the Gulf, Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean currently on sale. The most favorable price (the lowest between the price of the old cruise and the price of the new one) will be provided, subject to the same stateroom type and cruise duration. You can choose any date, subject to availability, except for Christmas, New Year and August cruises. In case of choosing dates related to Christmas, New Year and August, the new tariff will be applied.

If passengers refuse the proposed alternatives, tourists can cancel their cruise*.

*Full refund of the cost of the cruise and services provided by MSC Cruises.

Out-of-pocket expenses such as air tickets and services booked before/after the cruise are not reimbursed.

Winter program on the liner MSC Sinfonia from November 12, 2023 to April 15, 2024 was also canceled because most cruises had the port of Haifa in Israel as their main stop.

In the Grand Voyage on liners MSC Virtuosa, MSC Opera and MSC Splendida minor changes will be made in the near future.

The safety of passengers and crew is MSC Cruises' top priority, the company continues to monitor the situation and, if necessary, will make changes to cruise routes.
