MSC Poesia after a grand modernization: the liner received the MSC Yacht Club and is sailing to Alaska in 2026

The company MSC Cruises has officially completed the major modernization of the MSC Poesia cruise ship. Already in May 2026, the renovated vessel will begin its debut season in Alaska, with the main highlight being the addition of the premium MSC Yacht Club complex.

This is one of the most extensive modernizations in the MSC Cruises fleet in recent years. Following the renovation, the classic Musica-class ship has received a completely new level of service and premium vacation experience.



MSC Poesia now features a full MSC Yacht Club!

After the renovation, the forward section of the ship now houses the exclusive MSC Yacht Club complex with 69 new luxury suites in various categories:

cozy interior suites
balcony suites with ocean views
family suites with connecting balconies
two-room Grand Suite with a large terrace
luxurious Royal Suite with a private whirlpool bath

Particular attention is drawn to the Royal Suite, which now features a spacious panoramic terrace of approximately 78 m² overlooking the ocean.

All MSC Yacht Club suites include:

premium textile accessories
Nespresso coffee machine
complimentary minibar
24-hour concierge and butler service

Alaska in Summer 2026 and the Caribbean in Winter After completing the renovation, MSC Poesia will head to the United States, where it will spend its first Alaska season.

Icy Strait Point
Endicott Arm
and other scenic destinations in Alaska

During the winter 2026/2027 season, the ship will relocate to the Caribbean and Central America.
