MSC is going to build the largest airliners in the world! 

MSC Cruises is in talks with Meyer Turku shipyard to build the largest cruise ships in history.

 

Besides the fact that we are talking about a new series of MSC vessels, which in itself is interesting news, the most important aspect is their size. The ships' displacement is expected to exceed 250,000 tons and length - 365 meters.

The ships are planned to be built at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland and will be a direct response to Royal Caribbean's rival Icon Class.

Currently, the largest cruise ship in the world is Icon of the Seas, with a displacement of 248,663 tons and a length of 364 meters.
